I use a light box to line my designs onto 140 wt. watercolor paper. I use a water proof ink pen(microns or paint pens usually), then I paint with liquid acrylics. After I finish a sheet I stain it with a polyurethane wood stain.
This is my fave sheet. This whole set is just stunning! Love the limited colours and how they all work together nicely!
thanks again... I think that was the last sheet that I painted? I've been trying different strategies with my painting to figure out the most efficient way for me to paint. I find that laying down the greywash first and then just laying the color over the top is the way to go... it alows me to figure out things with the wash before I lay down the actual colors.
Thats usually how I paint as well. I'll work from my black to grey then do all the color last. And usually if I want to use yellow I use that very last because it always seems to get muddy when it touches the other colors.
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick.
